Miss Football Nigeria and recently crowned miss Africa unique Miss Tracy Solomon, has said that the Democratization Sports sector and early payment of bonus fee to players and athletes as insisted by Sports Minister Solomon Dalung has aided the growth of sports in Nigeria.

The queen who was recently crowned Miss unique Africa at Tunisia, made this remark during a recent interview by news Media Nigeria on the Growth of sports in Nigeria in collaboration with Art life online T.V.

As one of those interviewee, she said that there has been a drastic change in the sports sector including the game of football in the past few years. She said that sports being a unifying factor needs great attention and applauded Minister Dalung for his efforts in helping to Democratize the sports sector which has led to improvement in the welfare of players/athletes.

The football Queen said that the new pattern of adopted and insisted upon by Minister Dalung has paid off, as players no longer complain off not being paid. Miss Solomon stated that the reverse was the case several years ago when players were treated badly even after representing their country in very significant competitions.

“A lot has changed in the sports sector since Minister Dalungs resumption. I applaud his efforts in rebuilding the sports sector and ensuing that bonus fee is paid to players on time. I thank the federation also for cooperating with the Minister and ensuring the implementation of that. We have had cases in the past were players complained of nonpayment of their allowances which led to crises and poor performance but today the story is different. The Minister should be applauded for that and also the federation presidents who have cooperated with him.” She said

Among those featuring said sports documentary are youth and sports Commissioners, sports directors, coaches and Presidents of several sports federation.
